Hailee sensed that Howard didn't want to discuss what happened in Budapest. She eyed her husband with a meaningful gaze. She signaled to take it easy on their son as she tugged the hem of his shirt.
The father wanted to give a piece of his mind to admonish his son. Thus, Hailee heaved a long sigh internally. She looked at the two men back and forth, then said, "Please, have a pleasant talk. Okay?"
Hailee held their hands. She looked meaningfully at Vincent, who gave her a pleading gaze not to abandon him. He wanted to see the sunset with her. But she had a different plan. She considers the moment a perfect time for the father and son to talk heart-to-heart.
"I'll check on Edward. He needs to eat his dinner now." She added, then left the two in the garden.
