Leona's questions to Stephen continued to disturb Javier's mind and it did not silence him anymore. He couldn't even focus properly on work because of that. He felt the fear in his heart and knew that the day he feared the most was approaching. Leona is being aware of her surroundings, especially about the accident that happened to her years ago. And based on what he saw of the woman earlier, it seems that she is not convinced by what Stephen told her. Is it possible that she is also gathering other information about that and just not telling them?
Javier stood up from the swivel chair when suddenly something came to his mind. He went to the window and looked at the vast city.
"Was it Adan Javier? Was he the driver of the other car?"
Stephen's mouth fell open and was momentarily stunned by Pola's question to him. He wasn't sure what the correct answer to that question was.
"Pola."
