He looked at it out of the corner of his eyes. It woke up and sat up while looking at him.
"You haven't gotten over me, have you?"
He quickly looked at it sharply. He wants to hurt the woman if only he can do it.
"That's why you've been lingering around me." Amelia continued.
Adan swallowed nothing but pain. He immediately removed from his mind the desire to reclaim the woman and pretended to laugh sarcastically.
"You seem to be mistaken—"
"Then why did you save me? I have nothing to do with you. I'm trash. You should've let me die. Why did you save me?" Amelia cut him off. The anger in his heart welled up again and seems to be eating him up.
He immediately averted his eyes from Amelia and cussed inside his head multiple times. Because even he himself did not know why he saved the woman.
"I'm going to come back…"
He looked at Amelia again because of what she said. Their eyes met immediately.
