When she finally approached us, I even saw her look down at my hand holding Hector so I automatically withdrew my hand from him. She grinned and raised an eyebrow at me.
"So, you made up?" She mockingly asked me. I could feel the heat all over my face. I feel like this woman is playing some tricks on me.
"Guess what, we found them just coming back from the creek. What do you think they did? "
I quickly turned to Rusty because of what he said. He laughed as well as Sir Anton so I stared. It was three o'clock in the morning and we were still here, with no intention of sleeping and resting. When we were about to return to the hut, we met them at the same time. I didn't know how I would react because of the meaningful looks they had on us, but this Hector didn't seem to have anything to do with him.
"I see. That's how you made up, huh," Vera said devilishly and nodded further.
