Earlier that day. . .
Marco quietly placed the flower on top of the grave. He felt his heart break as he looked at the name engraved on that tombstone.
"I'm sorry for hating you, father. . ." He whispered. "I'll apologize so please. . . save Javier."
He doesn't even know where to ask for help for Javier. He knew that Javier had already made up his mind about his condition and even though he was the latter's best friend, he could not force him to do the surgery.
But he feels that, as the day passes, so does the chance that Javier will live longer. Marco is not sure why Javier is punishing himself like this when all the bad things he did before were outside of him. He had no choice.
"He can't die like this. I'll trust you to protect him," he said.
He stayed there for a while before deciding to leave. He was about to walk away but he faced his father's grave again.
