"Please ma'am", Jide laughed. "I'm still an undergraduate. I can't be compared to a professor yet", he laughed again.
"Oh yeah, but you did a great job really, you are truly a representative of the African people".
"Thank you ma'am".
"I would love to see you have your first degree". Then she turned to Naomi. "Naomi, you made mention of him telling you to get your second degree before thinking of marriage, that's so sweet". She held her chest and smiled.
"Mom you talk a lot, ah", Naomi said, with a weighty feeling, sitting close to Jide.
"Oopsie". She pinned her mouth. "wouldn't have said that out loud". She looked around. "But isn't that nice of him?" She smiled.
"Arrgh", Naomi said and concentrated on what she ate.
