The next set that climbed the podium included Jarrol, Lastein, and Hasla. Each were given sculptures of a golden fist, with inscriptions on their bases. They were all accompanied by applauds on their way descending.
The last minutes of the ceremony was filled with people wanting to reach out to the heroic Earthlings. Everyone wanted to have a picture with them. They felt elated and proud of themselves for such treatment. They knew what they went through outside the institute, and they knew they really merited it.
It was announced that the portal through which the alfes would return to their respective planets wasn't open yet, and they had to spend close to a month in the institute awaiting it.
