"With this, you get to anywhere in the universe. The universe is infinite, so are reflections of the stone. Each reflection suggests a place in the universe you would be. But the apparatus had already been programmed to land you in front of Brune's laboratory," Naphia said.
"Brilliant and impressive," Daisy said.
"It remains inactive as long as the red dominates -- it indicates a low spectrum of energy. But when it turns blue, the show starts," Naphia said.
"So, Neptar, here we go," Launa said.
"You first." Jarrol ushered her into the apparatus.
Launa hesitated.
"Go on," Daisy said to her.
Launa nervously stepped on the glowing floor of the apparatus, and the whole setup turned blue. The energy from the blue lasers caused the emerald to spin at a high speed, and, before everyone, Launa vanished.
