"I need to stop here. The Xanin hamlet is in front." Ailo said after they had reached the end of the woods, cutting their amusement short.
Marie's face changed immediately. They all turned to her.
"Why?" Marie said.
"Because I don't need to. I won't overstep this boundary." She hit her stick on the ground.
"I don't think the centorcs are coming for you anytime soon," said Marie. "What if we see another snake on the way? Or something equally as dangerous? We feel protected around you and your wolf."
Ailo snorted. "I don't really know how brave the men are."
"Don't worry Marie, I can protect you from all these things." Itsuki waved his hands to the ground. "I do catch snakes with my bare hands." He clenched his hands strongly.
Ailo smiled and looked at Marie. "I really need to turn back. For reasons best known to me. I need to leave." She turned around immediately and began to walk swiftly, with her wolf beside her.
