My eyes were still fixed at the woman who had my child growing in her womb. I smiled at her but she still seemed fazed.
"On your feet." I ordered and instantly she stood on her feet staring at me like I was some god. Her fish clenches against her pants but it didn't do anything to stop me. I needed to let her know that her child was mine.
The rage that rushed through my veins whenever I hear her say the child was Peter's was enormous.
I never thought I would be part of their lives, but I couldn't help, it was my child afterall. Unlike the surrogate Eloise had darker skin tone and long lustrous hair. She was tall and pretty. Her nose natural as well as every other thing that complimented her physique. There was no complains, she was perfect and fit for my child's mother.
"I need you to sit on the chair." I said to her.
"Me?" Her voice quivered and her eyes widely opened in shock. I could sense the tension from her voice and her whole body was in tremor. It won't make me back out, today was it. I've waited few months before I can finally let her know that her baby, is not Peter's.
"Have you been to the hospital again? How is your health?" I asked and suddenly I could see her hands relaxed on the desk. Her lips parted as though she was breathing heavily cautiously.
"Yes I have. Sir why did you have me wait behind?"
"Cause there is something you need to know. I wasn't joking at the hospital when I told you, I am the father of your child." I break the news to her waiting for her to respond immediately. Her brows were furrowed for a moment and her gaze suddenly drifted from mine as she glared at Mr. Jonas.
"I don't understand the joke. Are you doing this to mock me? Is this because of what Diane said earlier?" She suddenly screeched at me as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"That wasn't why. I'm not concerned neither am I interested in your private life, I just want to let you know that, I am the father of your child." I tried telling her ones more in attempt to convince her, but she thought it all to be noting but a mockery.
"With all due respect sir, I belt I must resign." She stood on her feet.
"I will make sure I tend over my resignation letter before leaving. Excuse me."
"To where exactly? You think I won't chase you? The child growing in your womb is mine. You got pregnant for me while in coma, it was a mistake made by the doctor's."
I stood on my feet and walked away from my seat. She veers around slowly, her eyes gathered tears and her lips widely parted in shock.
"I am the father of your child. I'm sorry, but you won't be able to get away from me. We are bound together by our child." I tried to be reasonable as much as I could, but she was standing staring at me like a statue.
