I smiled when I heard Shanon's confident words as she answered my question earlier. I raised my hand to the top of his head, patting his still wet hair a few times before I stopped the movement of my hand and rested my head on her right shoulder.

"Is this real? Does this mean you accept the opportunity I gave you to be my girlfriend, Shanon? This is really happening, right? I mean, you and I now…"
"Yes, Marleen. Of course, everything you are experiencing right now is real!" She shouted while moving my body away from her and forcing me to direct my gaze directly at my student, who is in front of my eyes right now. "Why would I bother bringing you a ring and giving it to you if I don't want to take the chance you gave me earlier? And again, how could I just turn down the opportunity that was in front of my eyes? I'd be crazy if I didn't accept your offer to be your girlfriend, Marleen."
