"Jeez, ridiculous question!" Lily sounded grumbling.
"Tch, shut up. Why are you so noisy?" Sky also commented to Lily, "He's not you!" he continued grumbling.
"It's up to you if you want him alive," Mr. Jack said, "But let me be clear to you, young man. Your current attitude will determine your future, which he has destroyed," continued Mr. Jack.
Mr. Jack's words were very clear. If Edward kept quiet and allowed the villain boss to live, then there's no telling how sinister the villain boss would be to other people in the future.
In front of Edward's own eyes, the criminal boss ignored the cries, screams of pain, and the blood of the humans he tortured. A cruel human like that couldn't possibly repent forever, and Edward knew that.
"I understand, but I can't kill him, sir. I'm a doctor, I have a responsibility to save lives, not the other way around. How could I do that to him?!" A confused Edward asked Mr. Jack in a high tone.
