... Silence.
For a long moment the store was filled with Silence, everyone presents regardless of whether they were customers or attendants all had their mouths agape in both horror and shock!
That is to be expected as the dead body of the one they referred to as "Young master" Was currently lying on the ground with countless purple swords impaled within his body!
The son of a famous businessman was killed just like that! This news will definitely shock the entire city, especially since that businessman doted his son as he was his one and only son that was left behind from his deceased wife. The store manager's face was deathly pale as he broke out into cold sweats with his body trembling!
What was he supposed to report to his boss? Even if he explained that he had nothing to do with the death of the young master, he knew he would still die by that man's hands!
Kenta looked at the body of Tony lying on the ground with disinterest, he then slowly glanced around and attentively observed the facial expression of everyone present.
His blue colored eyes shone mysteriously, as he saw the uneasiness, worry, fear and anxiety in everyone's eyes.
'Killing the son of someone powerful will definitely bring countless trouble knocking on my door later,' Kenta narrowed his eyes slightly. "I guess I should leave this town as soon as possible." Kenta muttered as he closed his eyes and took deep breaths as he thought about possible escape routes to get out of his current predicament.
'Since everyone here had already seen my face, it won't be long before those guys come after me.... but.'
Why should he care? In the end he had already lost everything hadn't he? Even if he disappeared no one would miss him, if he died no one would mourn for him... his goal was to get revenge on the ones who had stolen from him, in order to do that he would end up becoming enemies with the entire country sooner or later! Kenta didn't fear death, nor did he cared about the ones who could potentially become his enemies.
His resolve wasn't half-assed, he naturally knew of the possibility of dying when he chose to walk this path and so... he was prepared to die at any moment. However, he absolutely refused to die until he achieved his goals of making the ones who took everything away from him suffer.
Fear?
Why should he fear a mere businessman? His enemy was a prince! Suddenly Kenta took up his shopping bag he had left behind before facing the spear wielder and purple lightning crackled noisily around his body as he moved. Streaks of purple lightning were left behind as he disappeared, before they subsequently vanish completely some time afterward.
"W-Wait!" The store manager shouted, but he was too slow to react as Kenta was already gone. "Damn it!" He cursed. He wanted to bring the boy who had killed the young master so he wouldn't be blamed but now... such a thing was impossible!
Eventually, feeling of fear and anxiety begins to swell up within the hearts of everyone present as they thought of what that man would do when he found out his son was killed.
"Jessica, did you?" The blonde-haired man asked, turning his gaze to the woman wearing the cloak beside him. "Yes, there is no need to worry, I had already sent one of my beasts after him." The woman wearing the cloak who goes by the name Jessica replied, as she watches the situation with deep interest.
"... Now that he had killed a young master, I can imagine things will be difficult for the boy. Honestly, I'm surprised he was brave enough to do such a thing out in the open." The blonde-haired man couldn't help but mutter.
Despite his words his emerald eyes were sparkling as if there were a million stars within those eyes, he was a warrior who couldn't help but respect those who are brave enough to challenge adversaries without fear.
"We should leave, things are about to get troublesome." The blonde-haired man said as he noticed the agitated state of the people gathered there, he then made his way towards the exit. Jessica said nothing as she followed after his figure with indifference. However, "Stop right there!" The store manager ordered! However, Jessica and the blonde-haired man didn't falter in their steps as they made their way towards the door.
Seeing that he was being ignored the store manager gritted his teeth in anger, without any hesitations he moved forward and grabbed the wrist of Jessica who was trying to leave. "I told you to stop!" The store manager said in a tone that didn't hide his irritation.
Now that the young master was killed his father was definitely going to be very angry and he was sure many of the people gathered here were going to die regardless of whether they were involved in this incident or not!
He had already sent someone to inform him of what happened here so, he couldn't allow anyone to leave now that the boy who had killed the young master had escape.
However, little did he know that the most influential businessman was already aware, sometime when Kenta had killed Tony, one of the shadow assassins who were currently working for him used his shadows to inform him of the incident!
Feeling her wrist being grabbed Jessica turned her head and the hood that covered her face fell backwards, revealing her beautiful face.
Her long brown hair cascaded down to her waist, and her cold blue colored eyes showed nothing but indifference as she stared at the man currently holding her wrist. "You're hurting my wrist, let me go." She said coldly. "Tch, didn't you hear me! No one is leaving this place until the boss shows up!" The store manager exclaimed.
Hearing his bolde words Jessica raised her eyebrow in amusement, "Is that so... I do wonder who exactly is going to stop me from leaving?" She asked, genuinely curious. "Do you need some help there, Jess?" The blonde-haired man asked. "Help, why would I need help to deal with an Insignificant ant?" Jessica asked. "Ahaha... my mistake. It's just that it's been so long that someone had dared to touch you so casually that I forgot who you were." The blonde-haired man said, chuckling in amusement.
Jessica ignored his words as she turned her attention back to the man who was currently holding her wrist. "I won't asked twice, you know." Her voice dropped to several degrees as she warned. The store manager's body shook as he felt her slightly subtle killing intent. However, since he couldn't feel any powerful aura coming from her perhaps, he thought she was just an ordinary human who was naive and didn't understand the situation.
"Young lady, please understand that the current situation is serious. No one can leave without the bosses permission." The store manager said once again trying to get through to her, seeing how persistent he was being the blonde-haired man couldn't help but shake his head, 'If only he knew the true identity of the woman he is holding, I wonder just what kind of expression this man would make?' He chuckled inwardly as he thought about it.
"Tch, very well, if you refuse to listen to me then... I hope you don't blame me for being cruel." Jessica muttered coldly. Before the man could comprehend the meaning behind her bold words, a magic formation appeared behind him!
ROOOOOOAR!
A loud beastly cry echoed within the area, as a giant beast that resembles a bear appeared. However, the bears body was completely covered with red flames from head to toe.
The man observing the situation from the shadows suddenly widened his eyes as he felt the aura of the beast! "Th-This... A high ranked beast, that woman is capable of summoning such a creature!" He broke out into cold sweats as he stared at the woman's face.
'Don't tell me is she that woman... Why is someone of her status doing in a city like this? I must report this to the boss at any cost!' The man then disappeared into the shadows completely!
'Hehe... it seems he is gone; I was wondering when he would leave.' The blonde-haired man thought, he had noticed someone was hiding in the shadows the entire time but decided not to get involved. Whoever it was, was clearly a guard who was task with the job of protecting the young master.
"Now that our identity is known, I'd like to see who dares to interfere in our path!" He muttered.
Meanwhile, the flaming bear swung its mighty claw downwards separating the head of the store manager from his body. Jessica gently rubbed her wrist as she looked at the fallen body of the man who had just had his head severed!
His head rolled across the ground splattering droplets of blood everywhere!
"We should go, that boy must be gone by now." She said indifferently as she left the store, the cries and scream of the customers and employees continued but she didn't spare them a single glance. The blonde-haired man simply shrugs as he followed after her.
