To Mike, Aurora's and Stephan's thoughts were as transparent as glass. They slowly widened their eyes since no one would really suspect that a young-looking boy like him could have been a mage all this time. Mike was pretty pleased by their reaction. Aurora wanted to say something but the words were stuck in her mouth and Stephan couldn't say anything at all.
She heard from Duncarabian that how mages of the tower liked to take away anyone with the potential to do magic and especially if they were humans. He was afraid she would be taken away. It was why he didn't bring a mage to teach her magic.
