The door appeared like a drawing that was about to be finished. The workers stared in disbelief at it appeared in the middle of their working hours and fear shot through them. They never saw something like that, especially not a door that appeared in the middle of a place without being tied to a wall or something hard.
The door unveiled showing Stephan and Mike in a shocked stance. Abnu just ruined their camouflage and Stephan was part of it. Without waiting for the bandits to reach out for them, Mike darted from the portal and joined the others, unsheathing his sword in the process.
The bandits didn't care since there wasn't a commotion and they didn't see what happened. They were engrossed in their games, playing cards by the entrance. When the portal appeared, everyone was shocked that they didn't make a noise so the bandits didn't check.
