They were in the dining room and Lord Sebastien ordered the ghosts sitting on the chairs to leave them alone. When he saw how things unfolded, he understood that the Lord knew he was lying but Sebastien chose to not say anything, which made Stephan curious about it and yet at the same time scared.

The girl was chained there for days, weeks, maybe years and so there was no way the Lord didn't know about that. The Lord certainly knew about the merchant but if he asked about it, the Lord would have a perfect chance to come at him and he wasn't going to gamble on that; the dagger without skills and good armour meant nothing.

"What do you mean by little thing I keep around, Lord Raygahara? I don't have anything around me," he peeked discreetly at the two companions that indulged in silence for his own sake.
