Chapter 156 - The Ghost Child

The lock was rusty because of all the fluid she couldn't contain in her body. She couldn't go to release herself many times and she had to do it in a bucket. Sometimes, when she was sleeping, she couldn't hold it because of fear. Her sweat dropped on the rusty lock, trying to turn it repeatedly. It refused to budge and fear rose in her like the sun high in the morning.

By the time Stephan recovered from the pain and stood up, the dark priest had already disappeared. What was it? Was it a cloaking ability? Something that made him invisible for others eyes to not be able to see it. Unlike in the test, now he was guaranteed he would die if he wasn't careful. There was no Aurora to keep him alive.
