Chapter 137 - The last hug

His body was shaking as if it was freezing. Not from fear but from a silent hatred immersed in deep fervor. The woman in front of him was crying terribly. He mourned her for years but now that he saw her, he couldn't hug her. The truth she just shared with him shook his inner world and pushed him to consider the fact that he was a lost cause. He probably could only follow what she planned for him.

She kept apologizing repeatedly, drowning his ears in the sound of her voice. It was the same.

"If she could roam the and like it was nothing, then she must be powerful," he said. "What's the point of fighting against her when she is that power and she could constraint my abilities like this?"

"I don't know. I didn't want to love you at all but I guess no mother can forsake her child. I tried talking to her but she said a deal was deal and nothing would break it unless something of equal value was given instead. I am sorry."
