Chapter 110 - Thunder roars

The gray fog filled the air with its eternal hands, engulfing everything into a cold embrace, calling out for the baleful glances of the wild. The elves kept chattering and laughing about the recent events. They simply had to wait for the apprentice mage so they could resume their initial work. Now that they got rid of the dwarf and the elf, their embryonic plan would work the way it was supposed to.

They didn't know that sitting there with the door of the hut open was the biggest mistake they could ever make. Richard closed his eyes for a moment savouring the cold wind that blew on his face. He let out a sigh of relief; everything was working the way he wanted. Nobody knew what they truly were; they were criminals hired by the throne to do the dirty work. They were used to it. Be it, women or men, they always enjoyed themselves before killing them.
