"Wow your pet is so cute, where'd you get it?" Xi Yao said in excitement as she saw Zu Yi.
"I've got it from an elder in my sect." he didn't want to reveal more than necessary about Zu Yi's origin.
A few hours later . . .
So this is Kunlun City, it's quite a long time since I have been here. It didn't change much except that now the city is way bigger and there are a few forces and schools.
"So here we are. Thanks for your ride. I have to go now." Zhu Tian Jing said.
Elder Yuan and Xi Yao both said "If you have time, you can always come to the Xi familyif you need something, our status here isn't that low."
"If I have some time to spare I will make sure to consider your invitation."
With that said he immediatly vanished.
A few minutes later in the city . . .
Zhu Tian Jing asked a stranger "Hey, do you know where I can buy some herbs and weapons here?"
The stranger just answered "You aren't from here are you?"
"No I just arrived here and need to buy some herbs and weapons."
"In that case you should go to the Blue Leaf Pavilion. There might be some things you like."
"Thanks."
In the Blue Leaf pavilion . . .
He went to the herb shop and said "Escuse me, do you have silver spirit grass, a red lotus leaf and one high-quality normal spirit root?"
"Of course we do, that's 10.000 silver coins."
That's quite expensive. Luckily i took some silver coins with me.
"Here they are."
"Thanks for your purchase, please come again.
In the weapon shop . . .
Hmm, these swords and sabers are all at most mid-grade weapons. Not really good.
Huh? What's this? An ordinary sword that excudes such an aura? That's not right.
I have to look what is up with this sword.
He went to the sword and touched it.
What is this?! This sword is encased in a barrier.
He tried to broke in with his divine sense but failed.
This sword barrier can actually break my divince sense? This sword isn't bad. I'm going to buy it and break this barrier.
As he wanted to buy he heard a scream.
What was that? It seems like no one else heard that. He silently thought.
Was it the sword that screamed? It was very likely.
After he bought the sword he went to the edge of the city and arrived at a lake.
"So now I am going to break through and reach the fourth stage of the qi refining realm."
With that said he started to take out the herbs and throw them in the air.
As soon as that happened he clapped his hands together and a blue flame appeared in front of him. All of the herbs fell into the fire and began to melt and got mixed together.
After a few minutes . . .
"Finally" he said as he was covered in sweat.
"A mid tier spirit pill." he proudly said.
"With my current strength it's really is a wonder that I can practice alchemy and make a mid tier spirit pill."
As soon as he said that he ate the pill and started condensing the qi inside of it.
A few hours later . . .
"Puh, I've even skipped the third stage and directly broke through the fourth. I'm shocked once again about this body's talent."
A few hundred meter away there stood an old man who watched all of this.
"Hoo? A mere second stage qi refining cultivator can actually make a mid tiere spirit pill? That's is quite shocking, but what is even more mysterious is that I dont even know what Alchemy technique that was."
"This Kid is quite promising." he said with a smile while he stroked his beard.
"Who is there?!"
Hmm? This little fellow can actually feel my presence? I'm getting more and more curious about him. As he thought that, the old man walked out of the bush and went towards Zhu Tian Jing.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Zhu Tian Jing said nervously. He couldn't detect the old man's cultivation level what means he was at least in the true qi realm. No he may even be higher.
"Hoho quite the sharp tongue you have there little fellow." the old man said while he laughed.
With that Zhu Tian Jing's expression changed and he was quite anxious.
"No need to be worried. I won't harm you. You seem to be new in Kunlun City, right?"
"Yeah I am, how do you know?" Zhu Tian Jing was slowly getting calmer as he said that.
"If you were not new here you would recognise me."
"Why? Who are you?"
"My name is Li Zung Zi. I am sect master of the Peerless Jade Sect. I was passing by and saw how you practiced Alchemy and was wuite curious about you. You only seem to be around the age of 15-16 and you are already at the advanced stage of qi refining. That's pretty good."
"I'm sorry for offending you, I didn't know who you were Senior." Zhu Tian Jing said and bowed respectfully.
"Haha no worries. I wanted to recruit you into the Peerless Jade Sect. In half a year our sect is recruiting new disciples. With your talent you may even be able to reach the astonished stage of qi refining if you train hard." with that said Li Zung Zi immediatly vanished on the spot without leaving any traces.
Peerless Jade Sect is it hmm? I need to improve my cultivation level at least to the peak of qi refining and then build a stable foundation. The Sect may be able to help me with this. I may consider joining the Sect. Zhu Tian Jing silently thought.
But first I'm going to break this Sword barrier and see what this crap of metal really is.
As soon as he finished checking the environment and made sure thare was no one else around, he started to close his eyes and concentrate himself one the sword.
Yellow and Blue thunderbolts shot out of the sword and hit him, causing him to have internal injuries.
A few hours later . . .
Cough. He spat out a mouthful of blood and said "Hah, I really didn't think that this scrap of metal was such a beautiful and strong sword. It was a perfect grade Sword. It has a blue handle and an one and a half meter long blade silver blade with many ornaments on it." Quite the good sword for the beginning, now I am definetly invincible under the Qi refining realm. With a bit of luck I may even be able to kill a foundation establishment first layer cultivator. He thought with a smirk on his face.
