Chapter 9 - Alonso

''I hate to admit it, but he is right. Alison will be shocked to see this amount of people in her apartment. It will frighten her.'' Lucia said and she turned to look at Walden.

''Boaz, accompany him out!'' Walden said to Boaz all the while having his gaze on Liam.

Liam smirked and turned to look at Alison, ''We will meet again, beauty.''

Liam turned to Walden and laughed before going out.

''Alonso, are you alright?'' Lucia squatted and asked. She touched him and shook her head, ''Walden, he is burning up. Tell me, what did Liam do to you?''

''He threw me from over there and trapped me with a spell'' Alonso explained.

Walden looked at him and squatted, he touched Alonso's forehead. A red flame came out of his fingers and entered Alonso, causing Alonso to cough and his eyes opened.

''How do you feel?'' Lucia asked as she helped Alonso up.

''I'm fine but…'' Alonso pointed at the bed of Alison and Lucia turned.

''Walden, no…'' Lucia ran towards the bed and an unknown power flunked her body back and she screamed. Alonso quickly went to help her up.

Walden looked at Alison with a darkened gaze. It was filled with lust and sex appeal. Walden closed his eyes, trying to control himself. He sat on the bed and touched Alison's face.

The door opened and Boaz entered. When he saw what was happening, he quickly formed a water medium and engulfed Walden inside, stopping him from going further.

''Take me away from here right now!'' Walden muttered weakly.

'Let's go, Lucia.'' Boaz said and the two of them walked out.

'Alonso, I will leave Alison in your hands.'' Lucia ran out after speaking.

''Yes, lady Lucia, don't worry'' Alonso said and bowed.

After everyone left, Alonso looked at the apartment and sighed. It was as if all the cleaning he did earlier on was for naught. Now, he had to start all over again.

….

Next morning…

Alison opened her eyes slowly and scanned her room. She recognized the family place and muttered.

''What happened to me? Why can't I remember anything? My head hurts!'' Alison stood up and heard the smell of good food. She rushed out and saw Lucia in the kitchen with another boy she didn't know.

''Lucia, you came back. I missed you so much.'' Alison went and hugged Lucia.

''Of course I came back. I missed you too, that's why I am here this early morning.'' Lucia turned to kiss her cheek.

''Who is…''

''Hi, lady Alison. I am Alonso!'' Alonso bowed and introduced himself.

''Alonso? Lucia, did you come with him?'' Alison turned to ask Lucia with a confused expression.

''No, I saw him here with I came. He said you brought him over last night after you saved him.'' Lucia looked at Alonso with a knowing gaze before going to sit on the couch.

''Huh? Me?'' Alison turned to look at Alonso. She shook her head and walked over to Lucia.

''Don't you remember, lady Alison?'' Alonso asked and walked closer.

''No, I don't remember anything.'' Alison said, giving Alonso a weird gaze.

''You saw a group of men beating me up and you fought them and saved me. Because I didn't have anywhere to go, you brought me here and even made me a bed by the window.''

''Huh? How is that possible? When did I become such a nice person?'' Alison pulled Lucia to the side and asked her, ''I don't remember anything.''

''Alison, if this boy weren't 15 years, I would have thought that you had a thing for underage boys.'' Lucia teased her.

''Hey, stop messing with me. I really don't remember anything. Wait! I remember getting into a bus at the bus stop and then, I…'' Alison's mind went blank and she shook her head.

''You look clueless.'' Lucia shook her head. She opened the peanut jar and fetched some to eat.

''No, I bumped into an obnoxious man at the graveyard and ended up exchanging phones with him. I remember he called to find out where I was but that's all. I don't remember anything again…'' Alison looked at Alonso with a suspicious gaze.

''Dear friend, forgive me. I was forced to wipe your memory of yesterday.'' Lucia looked at Alison. She couldn't tell Alison the truth.

''Why are you looking at me like that?'' Alison asked and turned to look at Alonso.

''What are you going to do about him? He doesn't seem like he has anywhere to go.'' Lucia asked, changing to topic.

''He has to leave. I am a single woman, what would people say if he stays with me?'' Alison looked at herself.

''He is 15, you're are 26. Just tell them he is your cousin who has come to stay with you. He is a decent boy, what if something happens to him when he leaves here?'' Lucia said before throwing the peanut into her mouth.

''But, I live in a single apartment. How can he stay with me?'' Alison let out an exasperated sigh.

''That's why I bought a two bedroom apartment for you. Here, the papers and everything is in your name'' Lucia said as she took out a few papers from her bag.

''I don't understand, how did you know I would need an apartment?'' Alison sat on the table in front of Lucia and cocked her brows suspiciously.

''Yesterday was your birthday. We haven't seen each other in a year, this is your birthday gift.'' Lucia stuttered.

''A birthday gift? Why do I feel that you are hiding something from me?''

''What would I hide from you? I am rich and just want to buy an apartment for my lifesaver. What is wrong with that?''

''No, I can't accept it.''

''You have to. Besides, it will come in handy.'' Lucia said as she turned to look at Alonso who remained quiet.

Alison stood up and walked closer to Alonso. ''You… you are lying to me, right? Tell me, who sent you? Are you human?''

''Hey, hey, stop playing detective on the boy. He looks so innocent and harmless. If he was a bad person, wouldn't he have done something to you last night while you slept?'' Lucia folded her arms and asked.
