''That's why I hate your clan. You demi gods think that you can do anything without being held responsible. My sister's soul is trapped in a dream world and your elders want to sacrifice the human girl just to get rid of a demon you failed to catch years ago. This is the most ridiculous situation ever!'' Kaada said as she glared at Walden.
''Nothing will happen to Alison. You don't have to worry about that.'' Walden spoke.
''I am actually worried, Walden. When you and my sister got together, you assured me that nothing will happen to me. But in the end, she became a sacrificial lamb for your clan.'' Kaada turned to look at Alison and sighed.
''Kaada, this is not the time to be blaming Walden. We need to find a way to get Alison out of the place. We cannot do anything to help her because she is trapped in her dream.'' Lucia spoke.
Kaada opened her bag and removed a small notepad. She wrote a few things on it and torn the sheet and gave it to Lucia.
''I will need these in order to perform a spell that will let us know where she is.'' Kaada said.
Lucia looked at the things and nodded. ''I think I can find these in my garden. I will be back soon.'' Lucia said and disappeared.
''I will also need her blood. I need you two out of here so that I can draw the blood out. We wouldn't want to awaken your animalistic desires right now.'' Kaada said, looking at Walden and Alonso.
''Call me when Lucia returns.'' Walden said before going out. Alonso looked at Alison with a worried gaze and followed Walden out.
Kaada walked to the table and opened her tote bag. She removed a sharp dagger and a small shiny ancient bowl and walked over to the bed. She took Alison's hand and cut her wrist with the knife. She drew the blood that came out into the bowl.
After she was done, Kaada used a piece of cotton to clean the slit wrist and stood up. She picked a greenish balm from the bag and returned to the bed. She applied some of the balm on Alison's wrist and the blood stopped flowing.
…..
Alison kept yelling at the top of her voice until she landed and rolled out of what seemed like a hole. Alison stood up and saw a well in front of her and the woman from the elevator.
''You are here?'' Alena chuckled. ''I just took the face of that woman and you really fell for it. But… it is all in my favor. Now, you are exactly where I need you to be, Kaadie.''
''Who are you? Why are you doing this to me?'' Alison asked and stepped back.
''Don't you remember this well? This is where you chained my master. Have you forgotten so soon? Just because you became a human doesn't mean you should forget everything you did to my clan, Kaadie.'' Alena walked towards Alison as she spoke.
''Who is Kaadie? My name is Alison. I think you are mistaken about something.''
''No, I am not mistaken…'' Alena removed a dagger from her side. She looked at Alison and smirked.
''I think that it is quite good that you don't remember anything from the past, Kaadie. I will remind you of all the atrocities you committed 500 years ago. With every stab, I will take you back to the past.''
Alison shook her head and was about to ran when the plants on the ground wrapped her feet, pulling her down and she fell.
''This is my turf, Kaadie. Everything here listens to my command. That's how powerful I've become. Thanks to you.'' Alena laughed and moved back to the side of the well. A blackened smoke could be seen hovering inside the well. It kept moving from one place to another as if it was restless.
….
Walden, Lucia and Alonso watched carefully as Kaada drew a circle in the room. She stood outside the circle and sprinkled sea salt around the circle with black lit candles. She then made another circle inside the bigger one with the blood she drew from Alison's wrist.
''Bring her over here.'' Kaada said to Walden.
Walden went and lifted Alison's body and placed her in the circle. Kaada then opened the bag that Lucia brought and removed the herbs that she requested for.
''Pound these together. There is a small mortar and pestle in my bag. Take it and pound these together.'' Kaada said to Alonso.
''Yes, Lady Kaada.'' Alonso collected the herbs and turned to take the tote bag.
''What are you going to do, Kaada?'' Lucia asked.
''Create another illusion with her body. This is similar to the sacrifices our ancestors used to do. It is used to invoke the spirits of lost souls. It is a special way of connecting the soul to the body. Once Alison feels the heat around her body, I will be able to find out where she is.'' Kaada explained.
''And if you are not able to connect with her soul, what happens, next?'' Lucia asked.
''If I'm not able to connect to her soul, then, it can only mean two things. She is dead or her soul has being eaten by another being.''
''Let's hope it's neither of the two.'' Lucia muttered and sighed.
''Here, I'm done!'' Alonso turned with the hand-sized mortar. He gave it to Kaada and moved back.
Kaaada fetched some of the paste and made some marks on Alison's forehead and her wrists. She then made similar ones on her feet before stepping inside the circle to touch Alison's forehead with her eyes closed.
Kaada's eyes suddenly opened and turned red. A strong power threw her out of the circle and she hid her back against the bed and hissed in pain.
''Kaada…'' Walden and Lucia rushed to help her.
''I… I have never seen something so strong.'' Kaada muttered.
''What do you mean?'' Walden asked.
''I saw her… I saw the human girl but she seemed different. I think that… she… she has my sister's powers.''
''What?''
''You should witness it for yourself.'' Kaada said to them and stretched her hand towards Walden and Lucia.
