"Is there no other way for us to rush things up?" Amanda complained after getting back home.
She could no longer tolerate Heather but she really can't do anything, Heather never raised her hand against her or raised her voice. While Amanda just slapped her a while ago. So, Amanda couldn't really take evidence of her being mistreated in order to pull Heather further down.
"At this point, other than someone who has accomplished more than her, there is no point in making her leave Cyrus. She was already chosen," the other side replied.
"Even so, can't we have others take her place instead?"
"Do you think I have enough power over that? I have power but not strong enough to actually pull her out of the project. Plus, have you forgotten who her grandparents are?"
"She was disowned."
