Hunter actually returned to camp after leaving the villa.
He only asked for leave because of her suddenly collapsing while chatting with him. As worried as he was, he couldn't just leave it alone. Since Heather is fine, he no longer has anything to do in there so returning back for training is better.
He can't be missing even just a single training. That is his vow when he finally stepped in this place.
In order to be among the best and do what Heather wishes for him to do then he can only do everything with his best.
