Alexander nodded his head, "If you are in fear then let's end it here. And you have to accept that I am fine. I don't want to place any pressure on you nor I want to mess up your current life with my own selfishness. So, once again I apologize for how I reacted and can we start talking about what you came here for? The source of the drug I was unknowingly intaking?"
He turned and walked around his table once again.
He sat back on his chair, opposite hers and had a sip of his own coffee.
He was about to pick up the files she brought when she placed her hand on top of them.
He looked up at her before tilting his head to the side.
"Why am I the one who is supposed to take courage and speak of what I thought? Why can't you tell me first what you are thinking?"
Alexander thought about it and she was right, indeed why must she be the one taking courage in telling him when everything she has was but an assumption.
