"Hello?'
"Thank you."
She could hear a choked up voice on the other side of the call.
"George?" she asked when she could somehow recognize the voice.
"It is indeed I. And I am thanking you for your suggestion of getting my parents to the hospital for a check up. I was not thinking about that at all but because you suggested, I did and persuaded them to go with me…"
Once again he choked at the emotions he was feeling.
Heather knew that the outcome was truly not good. Now it was no wonder that his parents died early.
"My mother was having problems in her heart while my father's lungs were deteriorating. The doctor said it was a good thing that it was found early. If not for that then it might already be too late. So thank you."
"I only told you what I think that you should do," she said.
She couldn't really accept the gratefulness.
"Yes."
Silence followed after his answer.
"I will do it."
