No one was able to stop Ericka's father when he threw the cane he was holding.
It hit her in the shoulder hard. The distance between them wasn't far and the way this person threw it was for the pointed metal side to hit her first.
Nevertheless, Heather remained looking at him seriously as if it did not hurt at all.
"Sir Burton!!!" Adrian called out.
"You couldn't accept it? What else does that bottle mean? If she did pour that on Yukina, will Yukina be spared? Even if she was washed, the acid may already have eroded a big part of her body and she may have gotten some other deceases."
Adrian could not speak when Heather continued talking.
"Who cares!! That woman is a nobody but I am a government official and that is my daughter. You have no right to equate the two of them together for they are not equals."
