When the employees came to report, Cyrus faced them like nothing happened last night.
Even when Grant and Derick came in, he acted normal.
Until once they were done with their report.
He started massaging the space between his brows.
"Is there something wrong? Are you tired?" Grant asked.
"No, something just came up last night that I was up until quite late. I barely had time to sleep, it was too shallow for it to be called sleep."
This was a lie, he had slept like a log until he felt Heather slowly getting up.
"Something?" Derick asked.
Cyrus turned to him and stared at him while being silent.
"Wha- What's wrong?" Derick asked.
Cyrus blinked, "Nothing."
"You suddenly went silent," Derick probed.
"Did I? Maybe I did."
Derick looked at his reaction.
When he stared at him moments ago, there was a sharp glint in his eyes as if he could see through what was on his mind. But now there was none.
