"Are you going back to the dorm now?" Cyrus asked as they continued walking.
"No, I'll have to bring that back to the lab and check on to it. I won't be able to sleep until I get to examine those things," she replied pointing at the backpack.
Cyrus looked at his clock. It was already seven in the evening.
"How long had you been out there?"
"Well, we went there just before lunch time so about eight to nine hours?" she counted with her fingers.
"Have you not eaten?"
"We have, you know those instant rations that soldiers have," she proudly said.
"I had always wanted to try that so before we depart, I asked officer Smith if we can take that as our lunch box. Of course, she looked like she had just heard a great a joke but seeing as I was serious, she actually tried to ask if I am indeed serious."
Cyrus watched her happily recount the things that happened in her day.
She even had some hand gestures making it amusing to see.
