Leah poured the standard helping into his glass before giving herself a generous one. Then she kept the bottle by her side.
"Planning on drinking the whole bottle away?"
"Well," Leah sighed as she picked up the glass, "I am facing a midlife crisis and existential crisis at the same time. I think I deserve a bottle or two myself."
"drinking is not the answer." Aiden reminded her before he started plating food for her. That was something Leah noticed about him. He would always give her proportioned food, making sure that she had the right amount of carbs, proteins and fiber all on her plate. In fact, even with spaghetti, he had made a little bit of salad on the side.
She swirled the noodles on her fork before she took the first bite. It was good. He was a good cook and she could not deny that.
Aiden put another helping on plate.
