A flip phone.
"Hey!" Leah whirled around but the maid had already gone and was also close to the door behind her.
She just left after placing a phone on her bed.
Leah narrowed her eyes in confusion, and in suspicion before reaching over to grab the phone and flipping it open. Her cheek twitched, how in the world was someone supposed to use the flip phone in the era of smartphones and touchscreens?
Maybe, she wondered, the red button? The green one had to mean for phone call.. maybe because she was not sure. How was she—
The phone vibrated in her hand and she yelped in surprise.
An incoming call.
At the bottom of the screen, there were two options. On the left, it was 'answer' and over the red one it was 'cancel'.
She pressed the green button and the call was picked up after which she placed the phone over her ear. "Hello?"
"Leah, sweetheart." Aiden sighed before the line. "How have you been?"
