Her phone pinged again and Leah's eyes went there. "What is it?" She asked where nothing was visible from her view.
Lucy opened her mouth but then closed it softly and she continued to look at the screen of her phone. "They… they just came together. After that, I mean the moment she got out of the car, he locked it before going away in a completely different direction."

"Hey," she squeezed Leah's shoulder. "you have to give them the benefit of doubt that he might have just picked her up. Or, they have known each other since childhood, maybe their parents forced them to come together. It can be anything, Leah, honestly."
