The next morning, Leah was awake before her alarm clock could do its job. She put extra effort in dressing herself and even wore heels so that it would give her some height.
She applied blush to her cheeks and some kohl under her eyes making it look like they were fuller with lashes. She felt good, she felt happy.
She felt giddy.
Lucy had already left and she had been gracious enough to wake Lia up to say goodbye. Thankfully, she had taken the driver with her.
Amelia had left a bowl of cut foods for her, since Lucy had told her beforehand about the job. Just so, Lucy could have something to eat before going on her job in case they were not going to serve her breakfast immediately.
Probably won't so that was a good call.
By the time she made it downstairs, she could already see Aiden's car from the glass.
