Multiple beating, fractures, a flesh wound in the face, all made her stay in the hospital for at least a week. The week that then became another week because the doctors were not sure and the panic that Mrs Adams showed did not help either.
Even if Victoria did not want to admit, Mrs Adams had become a staple in her stay at the hospital. A staple that she did not mind as much as she did Mr Addams.
"Here," Mrs Adams entered the room with her hands filled with A plastic bag of food. "I have your favourite. Chicken roast salad and then I have sprouts also—"
"Salad?" Victoria repeated, quite shocked by the fact that when Mrs Adams had said to get her favourite food, she meant a salad. Who would want a salad in a hospital?
The hospital had finally allowed Victoria to go for the food brought from outside or home. They had deemed her healthy enough but were making her stay in the hospital just for precaution.
