Even though Dr Baker had given his back to Leah, She kept her eyes on him, trying to see what was he doing. When he finally turned around, he had some kind of ancient device in his hand. It was made of food and had one long needle in the middle of it that also moved slightly as he did.
He kept it on the table that was next to him, where his notepad would usually be. Then he settled down in his chair.
"Why don't you have a few steps of water?" He proposed.
Even though it seemed like an offer, it appeared to be a little more than just that. Maybe, it was part of what he was about to start with her. Nonetheless, she took two steps of water, swallowed it, then decided to do it once more before. She placed the cap back on the bottle and kept it on the table.
"I'm not going to dwell much about what the procedure is, because I know you are going to try it yourself." He gave her a look.
