"Baby,"
Leah winced but did not open her eyes. She only snuggled into the blanket more.
"Baby, Leah?" She heard and felt someone shaking her. He realized, in her sleepy and dreamy state, that it was her mother. But Leah was not in any mood to wake up.
"Your Leah baby is not going to wake up in time, Emily. Better you do this."
That was all she heard before, with the sound of a swish the blanket was ripped away from her. She opened her eyes in a flash, ready to glare at the person who got done this only to look at her father.
Who was very very amused and particularly smiley this morning.
"Really?" She rasped. "Had your entire life's fun in ruining my sleep?"
"Absolutely." He answered, dropping the blanket at her feet, before moving away after winking at his wife.
Annoyed at her father's actions, he stared at him as he went into the bathroom and closed the door behind him.
