Leah walked into the house and ignored the chills her spine was catching. Lucy had dropped her home and by her words, had just left instead of coming in. What Leah was about to do, had to be done alone.
At the moment, she would rather prefer if no one was watching her back, knowing the reason for what she was about to do.
Martha, one of the maids crossed her, but looked up and Leah took the opportunity to ask her something. "Is my father home?"
"Yes, Miss." Jones' voice came from behind her, and she turned around to see him. "He is in his office and waiting for you."
"Cool." She nodded and walked past him towards the stairs, and into her father's study. She opened the door and peeked inside first. Noticing that he was not on call, he just motioned for her to come in, she walked inside.
"Morning." Leah wished and dumped herself in the chair in front of him. " I noticed something."
