Leah continued to stare at the door before snapping out of it. She dumped herself on her bed before lowering her back on it and staring at the ceiling.

Her mind silently recalled every event that she had been through today. From the point where she had introduced Aiden into her brother to the point where her father and his partner had mysteriously shown up there.
Then to the point where her mother had yelled and challenged her to a fight.
They definitely had a problem with Aiden more than they had a problem with her being in a relationship.
Their initial suspicion was right.
The problem was with Aiden and even he recognised it, which is why he disappeared at the sight of her family which meant that another of doubts have been confirmed. Aiden also knew about that past.
It was only her who had no idea.
