Seconds later, Emily was standing in front of them with a horrified look on her face. She stared at Leah's red eyes and the tears on her cheeks before turning her face to Remington.
"What in the world have you done with her? Not even 10 minutes have passed since you left me and you already met one of her children cry?!" She screeched in outrage of what had happened.
Even though it was not that a big deal to Leah, she stayed silent. Emily Adams was not a person to get angry about anything. But if she did, it was better to stay out of her way.
Also, since it was her father that her mother was angry on, she did not feel the need to get in between them. He could handle his own.
"Remi, what is wrong with you? What could you have possibly said to her?" Emily asked as she sat on the other end of Leah, and immediately told her baby girl into her arms. "Don't you cry, darling. I will take care of everything okay?"
