Leah placed her glass of water right next to him and then smiled. "Happy? I'm well hydrated now."
He didn't react.
Expecting as much as that from him, she turned around and looked at the kitchen before walking out of it.
She was not as eager to see the house as eager. She was to get out of the closed space with him. It was like her world gravitating towards him, but he was a magnet and she was the other end who just wanted to connect to him with every bit of power she had.
At times it became too much to stay in the same space as him and I felt like it was better to get out and away from him.
He had two living rooms, one can easily be the drawing room, and the other one was the one with the more homely feel.
Then she moved into the apartment further and found out about bedrooms. However, the lack of personal items made it questionable which room was actually occupied.
