As planned last night, Mona dressed up the next day after Kathryn had left. She had contacted her husband in the morning before Kathryn left and still he hadn't found the solution to the problem. And she gave her words of encouragement and told him how much she loved him.
She closed the door and locked it, already relieved that her period was slowly disappearing. It wasn't as heavy as before meaning in one week she'll be just fine.
The door to the bakery went open by Mona and the man by the reception stood up to attend to whoever it was only to see Mona. "Mona," a small insincere smile appeared on his face.
"You don't look happy to see me," she walked closer to the counter but he opened the short door gesturing for her to come in and sit on a chair.
"Not like that, Mona. Just...off," Lucas said.
"Because of your wife?" She asked.
"Huh?"
"I heard from Kathryn, are you fine?" She asked.
"I am obviously not."
