Ever since Kath agreed to go to Lucas's bakery shop, her heart hadn't been at ease, her head kept pondering about what she'd say and do. What if she wasn't able to control herself and keep staring at him? What if he says something about the day he licked her nipple? What if his wife was in the shop and harasses her again? How would she even face him? She wasn't that bold to face him after that incident of him not defending her in front of his wife when she literally meant no wrong.
And the moment they reached Lucas's shop, Kath was void of their arrival until Mona pushed the door open. "We are here!" Kath heard Mona's cheerful and bold voice making her wish she could be that bold with the man that just stood up to fall his gaze on her. He diverted his gaze from her and settled his eyes on Mona.
"I never knew you were serious about bringing this girl here," he walked into her presence while Mona glared at him with her arms folded below her burst.
