Mona grimaced her face so ready to fight with him again but she was confined by her energy. "Can you tell me why you don't want me to work?" She asked.
This time, Kenny had no response, he just stared into space thinking of another reason. "It's...it's...of course because you are pregnant and it's not good for the baby," he pointed out. "That's why," he added, making him more suspicious.
Mona squinted her eyes and sighed. "You are lying," she stated.
"Then what else could be the reason I wouldn't want you to work?"
"Because you are too possessive," she said. "You don't want me close to any man."
Kenny was blank for a moment, how did she...know? "That's absurd!" He mocked himself and turned around to face the stove. He was without a shirt as always and she was used to seeing him with just shorts.
