I didn't turn to look at him, but I'm sure he was going to heed my words. I know Sly doesn't want to be separated from me.
"What are you doing downstairs?" Marli asked me when I came into the parlour.
"You are here?" Pop smiled, "I intended to come to your room."
"Are there any leftovers?" I ask Marli.
"What? You just ignored me?" Marli gasped, "are you that hungry you can't answer me?"
"Yes, there is," Marli said, with a slight glare levelled at Pop, who pretended not to see the expression on Marli's face.
"Can you heat them? Thank you."
"Who's it for?" Pop rose from the chair she was sitting on and came towards me.
"Sly."
"What?" Both Marli and Pop's eyes dramatically widened.
"What's wrong?" I frown at them.
"Have you forgiven him?" Pop beat Marli to the question.
"I don't know."
"Then, why are you doing this? Did he ask you to get food for you?"
