I sat on the floor as I tried to process what just happened.
Could it be that I'm dreaming all these? I pinched my cheeks.
It's real.
The pain is much to be considered a dream.
"Lee?"
I rose from the floor, "goodnight, Sly." I took the necklace with me and slowly walked to where he was kneeling.
My knees were paining me, and my legs felt numb from sitting on the floor for a long time.
"What? Where are you going to, Lee?" He sounded broken and sad.
"I'm going back to my room. We will talk in the morning. Presently, I think it's better we sleep on it."
"Are you angry with me, Lee?"
"I don't know. I feel no emotion."
If I was angry, I wouldn't be here right now. But, I'm not angry. I'm just lacking an emotion. It's as if I'm a shell of who I am.
"Then, do you forgive me?" He cautiously asked.
