"Why is your room separate from that of Sly? You are married, so you should be sharing the same room, no?"
Pop said as if it's the most obvious thing in the entire planet.
"Sly sleeps in here most of the time," I shrugged as if it's no big deal.
"What? Most of the time?" She plopped down on the bed and relaxed on it.
"When he feels like it." I frown at her, "you said you are helping me with my assignments, why are you asking unnecessary questions?"
"Unnecessary questions?" She turned to face me, "I'm trying to get to know what's happening with my brother and his cute husband, and you are calling it, unnecessary?" She scoffed.
I walked over to my desk and got my books out.
"Today is your first day, right? Why all these assignments?"
"I might have pissed the lecturer off." I sat on the floor and spread the books.
"Isn't it supposed to be done with your laptop? Don't tell me your school is still—"
