I got dressed in one of the crazy boyfriend's jeans I chose and paired it off with a white crop top since the jeans happened to cover most of my stomach.
I wore my white sneakers and took my phone with me. But before I finally left the room, I checked the clothes I'm putting on, to make sure I look good before I left.
"God, bless me," Marli placed her hand on her chest. "You look gorgeous."
"Thanks." I turn, for her to see the back of the clothes, "don't tell me I don't look hot."
"You look more than hot." She winked at me, "Sly won't be able to keep his hands off you."
"You bet that?"
I look down at my clothes. Though I felt confident when I put it on, I don't think I'm close to feeling that confident.
"Are you certain? I kind of feel like he won't be happy to see me dressed this way."
"Trust me, love. You look good. Sly will also tell you that."
And that, right there, made me scoff.
