Thor.
The name became a constant in my mouth. I call out the name whenever I'm alone. It's like a breath of fresh air to me.
I don't know when this happened, but I've gotten used to him and his presence. Most times to me, it feels like he's the only reason why I go for the weekly ball.
"Are you ready for your Exams?" Sly asked when he came down.
"I'm more than ready."
Dressed in a button-down shirt and blue jeans, I look more than ready for my exams.
"Let's go."
"We haven't had breakfast yet. " I tried to protest, but a scorching glare from my husband shut me up very fast.
" We don't have time for breakfast, but if you think having your breakfast is far more important to you than your exam, you can stay back, and eat as much as you want." He taunts.
" No, forget I said anything. Let's go ahead." I rushed to add, afraid he might change his mind about the exam.
There's no telling what he's capable of doing should I so much as have a tongue slip.
"Better."
He walked out, and I followed him. Ecstatic not only for the fact I'm going for an exam, but this is my first time leaving the front gate ever since I came to this place.
This is just like a dream come true. Something I've been hoping and praying for has been answered.
I've been outside here, but I still looked around as if it's my first time been here. Everything seems so new and exciting to me.
Had I got a phone, I would have taken enough pictures to last me a lifetime.
I gave the guards patrolling around the compound a bow as I smiled from ear to ear.
If only Marli hasn't gone to school, I would have had her take countless pictures and videos of me.
Sly walked straight to one of the cars he newly bought, and entered it, surprising the hell out of me.
"You are not going with one of the guards?" I asked in surprise.
Ever since I knew Sly, he has always been someone who enjoys being driven around. I haven't seen him drive his car for once since I came to live in this designed prison.
"Is there anything wrong with that?" He raised a brow.
"No, nothing at all." I smile brightly, "I was just surprised."
"Get into the car, we don't have much time to waste." He said in that clipped tone I've gotten familiar with.
"Yes," I ran around the car and sat on the passenger's seat. I buckled my seat belt to prevent more snaps from Sly.
"Are you ready for your exams?"
"More than ready."
Last night, I read until my eyeballs became double their size, and my eyes started seeing double.

The university is just like I've imagined. Sky drove through the road, and straight to the exam hall, but that didn't prevent me from looking at the tall buildings in awe.
I watched the few students either casually walking back to their homes, or rushing for classes. Just watching them made me sigh.
"What's wrong? Having second thoughts about the school already?" Sly asked in a mocking tone.
" Nah. I don't think I'll ever have second thoughts about the university." I take a very deep, steady breath.
Sly escorted me to the exam centre. Having packed his car in the parking lot, he had to walk a bit of a distance to the exam centre.
"You know you don't need to escort me."
"And have you gotten lost on your first day here?" He raised a brow at me, "I don't have the strength to match out a search for you should you get lost." He frowned at me.
"Thank you," I brightly smile at him.
Sly might not treat me like how one does a significant other, but he has done enough for me.
By allowing me to take this exam at a university, he has gone up a notch on my pedestal.
"I'll be back to take you home when you are through." He said before he started to walk back to where he left his car.
"And how will you know when I'm through?" I shouted after him.
"I have my ways!" He called back.

"Good morning, ma." I smile at the woman sitting in the empty hall.
After Sly left, I signed my name in the registrar or whatever they called it, before I was asked to enter the hall for my exams.
Already anticipating meeting students, I was surprised to see the examiner alone here.
"Good morning, and you must be?" She looked down at the jotter she has in hand.
"Lee Madrock," I answer.
"Madrock?" She looked up in surprise, "is that your surname?"
"Nah, I took my husband's surname when I got married to him."
Compliment of my stepmother who wants me to be married to Sly fully. She was eager to see me fully married to him.
This way, she'll be entitled to the millions Sly gave to help her business.
"Do you by Chance know----"
"Sorry, I'm late." A female ran into the hall.
Dressed in clothes that look as if they haven't had a meeting with an iron all the days of their life, and a hair that looks like a bird's nest. She looked more like a person who just got up from bed, and not a student.
"Not only are you late, but you have the guts to wear such a ridiculous thing to this school." The examiner gave her a look. One that tells what she thinks of the clothes she's putting on.
"I'm sorry. I rushed here from the hospital." She brought out a letter, "This is my doctor's report if you don't mind reading it." She approached us, the letter outstretched to the examiner, who was looking at it as if it were a time bomb that can go out any moment from now.
"You know what, keep the letter to yourself.'
