"What are you going to do about him? Will you change location as you did two months ago?" Tap asked as he massaged my cramped shoulders.
"That was what I planned to do. However, mother said I should face him."
I had to think of my mother's words throughout the weekend. And I concluded it was time to put my foot down and show him I'm not going to run from him any more.
"That's the best advice." He lightly patted me on the back before he walked towards the opposite chair from mine, and sat down.
"I'm willing to do that."
Facing him head-on, just like my mother said, will show him how independent I am.
"Hmm," Tap smiled. "So, have you decided about what to do with your life?"
"What to do with life?" I furrow my brows at him, "why the hell do I need to decide what to do with my life? Haven't I achieved a lot?"
Although the credit for my achievements goes to my mother, I know I've achieved more alone.
