"Where are you going?" I stopped him from leaving.
"They don't know I've left the office. Let me inform my director about that." Sly pecked me on my forehead before he fished his phone out of his pocket.
He dialled a number before he left the noisy parlour.
"Let me go and warm the food," Marli said when she saw that no one was ready to break the silence between us.
It was as if we were all waiting for a person to do that.
"Are you eating with us?"
"If your husband sees nothing bad in that. Then, count me in." Marli grinned, "I've missed you so badly, baby boy."
Unlike the Pop who Always retorts whenever Marli said anything, the Pop standing next to us pretended as if she was both deaf and dumb.
"Don't let Sly catch you calling me that." I frown at her, "you know how possessive he gets most of the time."
